At an altitude of 1600 meters, at the junction of the Middle and High Atlas at the foot of Jbel Ayachi which culminates at 3737 meters, the Jaafar hostel enjoys a remarkable position.
A 6 km from Midelt, it is located on the road that leads to the cirque of Jaafar, 500 meters after the village of Berrem, also called “The Kasbah of the walnut trees”, because of the immense bi- and tercentenary walnut trees which shade the surroundings of the village.
